# Wordle Solver

## How it works

- Knows all 14,855 words the NYT accepts as guesses.
- Weights each word by the NYT's real answer history: unused words from the original answer list, repeats (since February 2026) and words that were never on that list.
- Plans the last moves exactly once a few dozen words remain, so it doesn't run out of guesses; in hard mode it avoids clusters like BOUND/FOUND/HOUND.
- Replaying the last 365 NYT puzzles it averaged 3.2 guesses in normal and hard mode, without a loss.
